Nadav Bashan

​Continuous development and learning are an integral part of the musical world of
Nadav Bashan - a singer-songwriter with a unique voice, accompanied by a 12-string acoustic guitar.
From his childhood days in Be'er Sheva to this day, Nadav continues to expand his musical
horizons and enrich his worlds of knowledge through various educational frameworks
(graduate of the Music Conservatory of Kfar Saba and the 'bpm' music production school),
writing workshops (Ronit Shahar, Sharon Moldavi), musical collaborations with musicians
and composers and a lot of self-learning - and all out of curiosity and a desire to do as many
things as possible on his own. So far he has released two solo albums.

He juggles not only between writing, composing, singing, playing a variety of instruments
and music production in the home studio, but also between the pursuit of music in general
and the other aspects of his life.  First and foremost his family - his partner, 
three children and one furry cat. Sometimes the boundaries between the two worlds
are not very defined, as Nadav writes quite a few songs inspired by his family
members and even includes his older daughters in various recordings.

Another influence on his work can be found in the Israeli reality in the last two years, with an
emphasis on the protest and the war. He never thought of himself as a "protest singer", certainly not
in the classic sense of the word, but his frequent participation in demonstrations eventually led to voluntary performances in demonstrations, including one of the largest demonstrations creating an audience of  about 20 thousand people. Quite a few of his songs reflect this reality in Israel 
("Ballad of Reality", "Running First", "Up to now"). His musical influences are very broad and satisfying to the listener. A unique and contemporary experience.

In the last year he has been creating and performing as part of a new trio group,with whom he is currently recording the third album. This new and intriguing collaboration produces a new interpretation of the previous and contemporary materials.
